When your employer's insurer pays
Your first visit
For a work injury, once your employer's insurer has authorized care. Your first visit is the examination: finding out what is going on before anything is treated. Plan about thirty minutes; please answer your questions before you come so the visit can be short. You pay nothing — your employer's insurer pays for your care, and you are never billed. Your next appointment is your results review: Dr. Goff reviews what he found and what he recommends, and you take the written report home; that is where treatment begins.
What the authorization needs: the insurer sends the authorization with the treating physician's first report and current notes.
Booked by phone: call or text Dr. Goff, 760-401-0341.
Interpreters: an AI interpreter is available with your signed agreement, or the insurer may provide one. Those visits are scheduled 30 minutes longer.
